Once upon a time there was a filmmaker who wrote about a magical croissant. Little did I know that I was heading towards an epic-fail. However, that failure made me come up with this idea that may change the future of cinema. This is the story of "Croissant":

Every day, I woke up hoping of filming “Croissant”. It was a silent comedy short-film project for smartphones. Our plan was to hire a local film production company, then casting a promising unknown actor, and finally getting a croissant-maker brand to sponsor us.

Later, because we were just three people with regular jobs, time passed and the production company closed a big deal for an important feature. Then the lead actor released a film which ended up being the highest grossing Spanish film in History.

Because they all escaped from our reach, I had nothing to offer to the croissant makers, so I had to pass on that project... but,

I believe in artist pros who care for their audiences. Audiences want everything for free but they are not the problem, they really love creators. The fact is that every professional needs money to invest in their career. Big studios and TV channels used to provide just that, until the crisis. Since then, they have perfected the art of keeping artists away from resources. The majors also have become middlemen profiting by keeping content away from audiences. To make things worse, brands waste resourcesinterrupting and annoying audiences with their ads. Those are the problems.

So, because of "Croissant", I came up with a way to solve them. The idea is to build a tool for sponsorships to happen faster, easier and directly between brands and creators while making sure audiences will be happy about that. This sounds like something a webapp can do.

I am developing such application.
